Compensation Disclosure

As a public sector body, the AIRB is required to publicly post the names of all Board Members and compensation paid to them.

This is a requirement under the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act. The postings are required by June 30th each year, and will be maintained for five years.

Employees of AIRB are seconded by Alberta Treasury Board and Finance. Their disclosures are included in the Government of Alberta salary and severance disclosure as appropriate.

Board Remuneration and Expense Reimbursement

The AIRB Board Members are remunerated a per diem amount in recognition of their time and effort required to carry out the mandate of the AIRB. In addition, the AIRB recognizes Board Members should not be out-of-pocket for their services. The AIRB reimburses Board Members for reasonable expenses incurred to attend meetings, training, and conferences or when acting as a representative of the AIRB.
