ABOUT AIRB
Independently regulating auto insurance rating programs across Alberta.
We facilitate fair, transparent and inclusive processes that encourage stakeholder input. Rate regulation is aligned with all relevant legislation and policies that consider the needs of insurance companies, the Minster and consumers.
We lead in a straightforward and consistent manner, making objective and well-reasoned decisions in order to foster an environment where all stakeholders are treated with dignity and respect.
We strive to develop innovative solutions that increase the efficiency of our processes and seek continuous improvement through professional development for our staff and Board Members.
The AIRB is a member of the Canadian Automobile Insurance Rate Regulators Association (CARR) and the General Insurance Statistical Agency (GISA).
