The AIRB is leading the Actuarial Advisory Committee for pricing of Care-First Auto Insurance system.  We are sharing information with all insurers as it is made available in order to ensure everyone has an opportunity to understand the process, and obtain most current information, and provide feedback.

Accident Benefits comparison table

This Committee has received the table on Accident Benefit Comparison, which focuses on the differences between Alberta’s Care-First system and the MPI system. These tables compare benefit levels under the current Alberta tort system, MPI’s system, and the proposed Care-First system. The differences will highlight areas where we need to make adjustments to the data and assumptions for the model, in addition to differences related to demographics, economics, frequency, severity, etc.
